Noncontact Sleep Monitoring System Under a Mattress

Sleep quality and duration are critical indicators of individual health. Traditional methods monitoring them either were limited to the application environment or resulted in discomfort. To overcome these existing limitations, we propose a noncontact sleep system placed under mattress, named SleepMatrix, provide users with comprehensive picture their real-time long-term health status. SleepMatrix is that consists two parts: front-end sensor array cloud-edge data processing system. The data-driven system, based on Internet Things, can be flexibly deployed environments from homes transportation, variety centralized control functions different scenarios. At same time, view historical through supporting applications understand results. complete systematic tool help people status its evolution new perspective therefore may contribute greatly informing potential illnesses.
